Twiga House is a nice enough place but it has been run down and has no security. Things have deteriorated: there are no shelves in the rooms to put up ones clothes and we had to leave ours in the suitcases. The security wall has fallen, there are no metal grills on the windows and as it is not too far from the public beach, it is not ideal that there is no security during the day or night. There was nobody to receive us when we arrived and we had to open the gate ourselves. There were enough sheep and donkeys grazing in the compound. In terms of service, the caretaker was okay but the house girls were reluctant and would walk around with long faces when asked to do anything. It is fine but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
