Good day, I’m Beverley

About me

I’ve been using SleepOut since May 2015.

My name is Beverley. I am the owner and host of Fifteen on Orange Guest Lodge. In November 2013 I bought the property and have spent the past 15 months totally restructuring and refurbishing to create a vibrant, welcoming space that anyone coming to stay would feel that they had chosen well. By profession I am a film maker. My passion and interest is social well being. I graduated from the Polish Film School in Lodge- Poland. After graduating I returned to England where I wrote the original film script “CAN YOU HEAR ME THINKING” with the novelist Monty Haltrecht. It is the story of a family whose child is found to have schizophrenia and how this impacts on them as a family. The film stars Judi Dench and Michael Williams. This BBC film won a BAFTA nomination. Shortly after Nelson Mandela was released from prison I returned to South Africa. I directed the documentary “NELSON MANDELA MEETS ARTHUR MILLER” produced by the BBC for their ARENA program. I produced and directed the 1994 ANC election film “A better Life for All”. In creating- Fifteen on Orange Guest Lodge -I bring my passion and commitment to ensuring that my guests have the best stay possible in a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing environment.
