Zeru Zeru Eco Local Wild Lodge is a small accommodation located on the south coast of Zanzibar. It’s strategic position between 2 beautiful beaches, Kae Beach (well known for its sunset) and Pingwe Beach (well known for The Rock Restaurant) both 800mt far away only, and not far from the villages of Dongwe, Bwejuu, Paje and Jambiani, makes Zeru Zeru a perfect spot for those looking for a tropical paradise to relax, far from the crowded beaches of Zanzibar.
Zeru Zeru Restaurant, inside the Lodge, is open daily from 7.30am to 10am (breakfast time), from 12pm to 2pm (lunch time) and from 6pm to 9pm (dinner time).
Pambazuka Restaurant, on Pingwe beach, just opposite to The Rock Restaurant, is open daily from 11am to 6pm. It serves local dishes, seafood and special beach dinner on request.
Our guests can also enjoy the sunbeds on the beach, sipping a cool drink. Both Restaurants handle their bills and payments. Advance reservation is welcome.
Zeru Zeru, unlike most Resorts, Hotel etc on the island, has decided to respect the environment and the community that hosts it, which is why the structure is entirely powered by solar panels that provide electricity, water comes from source of the village, the staff employed comes from neighbouring villages. We do not have a / c that would require excessive energy from the local network, but we enjoy the natural breeze of Michamvi Hill.
