Located on the southeastern boarder of Maasai Mara’s National Reserve, close to Siana Spring sitting on Olderkesi community, Enkewa Mara Camp lays in the midst of well protected valley at the foot of Kalema Mountain with views of the Masai Mara and the Siana Savanna.
Some of the great features of the camp is that it is an Eco-friendly camp, waste management, use of solar energy, ecological vegetation garden and no use of pumps or generator. Enkewa operates in close interaction with the community, the Maasai.
The camp has only five tents, each tent has an en-suite bathroom and views out across the valley and plains beyond. At the heart of the camp is the Mess Tent and a comfortable lounge tent, where clients can relax and enjoy the landscape between game drives and walks.
Enkewa Mara Camp offers a wonderful choice of adventurous activities, including safaris in Enkewa’s 4x4 vehicles guided by the camp’s knowledgeable Masai guides and spotters, night safaris, balloon safaris, walking safaris, sundowners, a swim in Sand River waterfalls and cultural visits to the local Maasai villages.
