Situated in the Masai Mara within the Siana conservancy, Mara Sokonoi Camp is tucked under canopies of acacia trees along a seasonal river, which meanders around the camp giving it a natural setting for its layout. The camp is accessible by road 250km from Nairobi and via Siana airstrip that is five-minute drive.
Mara Sokonoi Camp's self-contained tents are have hot water that is heated by briquette fuel boosters.The tents are lit by solar batteries. Beddings are quilt covers of fine cotton linen. The veranda is set discreetly facing the riverine vegetation and suitable for ultimate privacy if needed, as each tent is situated privately at the river gorges as it meanders around the camp.
The camp also has a beautiful self-contained traditional Maasai hut built by the local women that contains two bedrooms and a small lounge.
Mara Sokonoi Camp mess is a special place of elegance in the bush. It consists of a fine dining area plus lounge with a library and a bar and is raised so that guests can have a beautiful view of the sunset and offers camp fires right in front of the mess.
