The apartment is located in the heart of Cape Town's East City in an apartment block with 24 hour security desk and gym and pool located on top floor.
The apartment offers an open-plan lounge, kitchen and small dining area, and separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
There is one double bed in the room but I also have a single blow up mattress and extra bedding, so if needed the apartment can accommodate 3 people.
There are large doors that open for a bit of a view of Table Mountain.
Kitchen with oven and fridge and necessary equipment and appliances - don't forget to use the juicer! :)
The Bathroom offers a toilet and a bathtub with an overhead shower, plus a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The apartment is on the 4th floor and is accessible via elevator and stairs. Secure garage parking is included.
All linen and towels are supplied.
There is a gym and a pool on the top floor of the apartment block which you are welcome to use!
East City is where the Central City meets District Six, and where design, media, ICT entrepreneurship and creativity thrive. It's a vibrant area with some amazing restaurants and cafes popping up regularly. My apartment is a street away from Lefty's Dive Bar and Downtown Ramen - two MUST try restaurants in the area. Haas Coffee and Truth Coffee are on the same road as my apartment and both great for a lazy morning breakfast.
Additionally, the apartment has easy access to public transport and is walking distance to the city centre. It is a stone's throw from the Garden Centre, Waterfront, Table Mountain, Lions Head, restaurants, coffee shops, Internet cafes, antique shops & art galleries, the world-famous Mandela-Rhodes Place development and winery, the historic Government Lane & Company Gardens botanical gardens with huge museum, The Houses of Parliament, The Castle of Good Hope, The Bo-Kaap & Malay Quarter, trendy De Waterkant, lively Long Street, St Georges Mall, Adderley Street, Van Riebeeck Square, & Cape Town International Convention Centre.
You can use our MyCity bus service that is very affordable and reliable to get around town. MyCity bus is also excellent to use to and from the airport. There is a main MyCity bus stop two minutes walk from my apartment, straight up Buitenkant street, next to the Gardens Centre.
I have a parking bay in the garage of the apartment block where you can park your car.
Daily cleaning service can be added at an extra cost. There is a washer & dryer combo in the apartment but there is also a laundry downstairs as well we a dry cleaning service around the corner.
