Alliance Naro Moru River Lodge is an austere cabin residence located on the slopes of Mount Kenya, Africa’s second highest mountain, a perfect and most serene mountain climbing just south of the equator, in the heart of a small market town about 150 kilometres from Nairobi, Kenya’s capital.This breathtaking mountain lodge is a quiet locale to have fun, be with family and friends, with easy access to Mt Kenya’s peaks for climbing, hiking or trekking, biking and bird watching.

Whether you like to sleep under the stars or cuddle up in a deluxe room by the fireplace or you prefer to spend the night in the cosy self service cottages or country homes named after Mount Kenya’s peaks, rivers and valleys, Naro Moru River Lodge offers something for everyone.
Rooms well equipped with en suite bathrooms and pine furnishings. Bed linen duvets and pillows are provided. Each one blends perfectly into their natural surroundings providing a good level of comfort and warmth throughout the year. The cottages and country homes come with the advantage of a tree lined walkway and verandah that has a picnic table and allows eating alfresco.
Kirinyaga Restaurant – this restaurant seats up to 50 guests at a time. Named after Mount Kenya, it is the oldest restaurant at the lodge. Sample some of the best wines here as you enjoy your meals.
Nellion Restaurant – Nellion seats next to the lodges poolside. Relax on decked out chairs by the pool with a cocktail in hand or enjoy quiet lunches and local music wafting from the Batian bar.
Point Lenana bar – Right next to the Kirinyaga restaurant, this bar named after one of Mt Kenya’s peaks allows you to cool down after a trek in the mountain.
Batian Bar – With a great view of Mt Kenya, Batian is located right next to the poolside. Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
