Situated on the north east of the island, the house is a perfect place for peace and quiet, and just opposite a beach with great snorkelling! The house is just a 15min cycle to bustling La Passe, but far enough away to provide a quieter and more relaxing spot. There is a small convenience store about 100meters away and 2 restaurants within a 10min walk.
Lovingly created and designed by a well known local artist, the villa features colour schemes that reflect the lush surroundings as well as displaying many of the artist’s original paintings, helping to create a relaxing, tropical atmosphere.
The house can comfortably sleep 6 – 8 people in 3 double ensuite bedrooms, the largest of which is on the upper floor and has ample space for an additional 2 single beds.
A large veranda runs across the front of house with spectacular views of the ocean and nearby islands. The kitchen is fully equipped (with cooker, fridge and dishwasher). The house also has a modern entertainment system. The house is serviced twice a week (including linens).
There is much to explore on the island – the fish market in La Passe is often bustling with fishermen selling their catch, bicycles are also for hire and provide the best way to explore the flat coastal plateau and beaches from Grand Anse to Anse Fourmis.
Situated further inland is the Veuve Reserve, home to a variety of birds including the beautiful Seychelles paradise flycatcher. The island also features one of the Seychelles’ most beautiful beaches, Anse Source d’Argent where silver white sand and exotic palms have made it a favourite for many photo shoots, as well as regularly featuring in Conde Naste’s top 10 beaches of the world list.
