Ngulia Safari Lodge is located in Tsavo West National Park, perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, the lodge overlooks the Rhino Sanctuary surrounded by scenic Hills. Ngulia lodge has one of the most breathtaking views in Kenya, an ideal base from which to explore Tsavo, one of the world's largest national parks, boasting more than sixty mammal species within its borders.
The lodge however is more internationally renown as a haven for bird lovers whose coverage at the establishment every year between October and December to "ring "migrating birds escaping the harsh winter conditions of the northern hemisphere. It is the only place where this activity takes place in Kenya.
Guests can take guided expeditions to Mzima Springs, Hippo Point, Shetani Caves, Chaimu Lava flows, Kichwa Tembo and Roaring Rocks within the park.You can glimpse views of the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro over the border in neighbouring Tanzania.
Ngulia Safari Lodge has 52 standard rooms, all with bath and shower and a balcony with a view of the vast wilderness and floodlit water holes.
The Lodge has two restaurants, buffet is served at all meals. The main restaurant is built in an open air style, and has a view of floodlit water holes where the animals come for drinking water. Guests can enjoy their meals as they watch the leopard feast.
The restaurant, bars and swimming pool are all situated to make the most of the wonderful views across the plains to the far distant horizon.
