This stunning lodge is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro river in Laikipia district, set in 1,500 acres piece of land. The lodge has a more intimate and less commercial atmosphere in a beautiful area and particularly specialising in multiple day camel rides. The lodge remains a family home that boasts stunning and breathtaking 360 degree views, whilst walking you can see views of the Laikipia plains, Mount Kenya, the Karisa Hills and Matthews Mountains in the North.
The Lodge has six cottages, three with king size beds, two with twin beds and a family room. The units are open at the front offering beautiful views of the river and cliffs. Each thatched cottage is unique and tastefully decorated, built from local stone, cedar and olive wood found in the local area.
Facilities include en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and private verandas. The lodge is renowned for its luxurious baths; cottages 4 and 5 are amongst the favourites with deep stone baths and sweeping views.
There is a cosy main living area with lounge and dining room looking out on to the same awe-inspiring landscape. There is a swimming pool and you can also take a refreshing dip in the river.
The lodge offers gourmet cuisine either served in the dining area or on your private veranda. Highly trained chefs prepare mouth watering dishes, which will leave you craving for more. Lunch and dinner are served in the main dining hall, they can also be served out in the bush on request.
Soft drinks, beer, house wines and non-luxury spirits are available in the lodge's bar. The lodge offers an intimate atmosphere with an open dining room and lounge.
