This house consists of four bedrooms ,a combined lounge/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a shaded and wind- free patio area suitable for al fresco dining. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with a spectacular view of the sea where Southern Right Whales can be easily viewed throughout the summer, and at the rear of the house a bedroom with five beds. They are serviced by a separate toilet and a glass door shower/basin unit. Downstairs houses the lounge/dining room, fully equipped kitchen and two double bedrooms. The first of the bedrooms has twin beds and is serviced by a full bathroom. The second is an en-suite double bedroom.
The patio area is large and can seat 16 people comfortably. A laundry with a washing machine and general store room are situated in a separate building at the rear of the house. It's a wonderful base from which to explore the rarest floristic kingdom in the world. False Bay lies 15 minutes away and Cape Point Nature Reserve lies just to the south. The beaches are of fine white sand and the views in all directions, dazzling. There are great beach and mountain walks.
The house is set alongside a nature reserve with the most beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean framed by rare milkwoods. It's in the best position in Scarborough: a mere 3 minute walk across a strip of nature reserve to two lovely beaches. Cape Point Nature Reserve lies on the edge of the village but the entrance is 15 kilometres away by road. The historical naval port of Simons town is approx 15 minutes drive away over the mountain. Yacht basin, shops and restaurants and wild penguins on the beaches.
