Sasaab camp is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River located within the Westgate Community Conservancy in Samburu in the northern part of Kenya. Sasaab offers breathtaking views across the arid landscape of the Northern Frontier District towards the jagged peak of Mt Kenya, and offers a truly exceptional safari experience in an area renowned for its rare species. Sasaab’s design is based on strong Moroccan principles, in which African heat is a central consideration.
The lodge comprise of nine distinctive rooms each with Egyptian cotton sheets on four poster beds and invigorating showers in spacious bathrooms. Each room is over one hundred square metres in size and extends out to the veranda and private plunge pool with views overlooking the river and wildlife below.
Sasaab Camp offers delectable Moroccan dishes made from the freshest ingredients from the lodge's own vegetable garden, the lodge is able to arrange a special diet. The chefs will prepare a delicious breakfast or lunch on the deck.
