This house is located on the Atlantic seaboard, below the slopes of Table Mountain. Llandudno is undoubtedly the most exclusive and sought-after suburb in South Africa. If you are looking for a spectacular and tranquil setting only 20 minutes from Cape Town, then this is it. The house is grounded with natural sandstone rocks, granite boulders and gravel. The modern and minimalist style is reflected in the furniture, decorations and artwork.
All living rooms and bedrooms face west and have uninterrupted South Atlantic Ocean views. Some rooms also offer views of the surrounding mountains (Little Lions Head, Table Mountain, or Karbonkelberg). Whales, dolphins and seals are all seen regularly.
The single-level, open-plan living area (150 m²) consists of a living room, a lounge, a dining room and a large kitchen, all with ocean views and direct patio access. Glass sliding doors open from the living area onto a large (50 m²) west-facing patio.
The patio overlooks the garden, the pool and the Sunset Rocks. The main patio is furnished with teak table and chairs, and has a retractable pergola for sun and wind protection. The patio is ideal for outside dining or entertainment with spectacular ocean views. The 11m lap swimming pool has solar heating which allows for swimming for most of the year.
