Thomson' s Falls lodge is an eco Lodge tucked in Kenya’s high country, Laikipia, a place of solitude, freedom and space in a wild landscape, whose diversity ranges from the snow-capped peak of Mt. Kenya to the edge of the Great Rift Valley to desert. The Lodge is situated at the world famous Thomson’ s falls discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson, a Scottish Geologist and Naturalist.
Thomson’ s Falls Lodge situated at 7,800 feet, is surrounded by 10 acres of lawns, shaded with African olive and cedar trees. Built in the early 1930’s by English settlers, the original cottages still stand. It is an ideal overnight stop for travellers moving between Samburu and the Great Rift Valley.
The lodge has 32 single, double and triple rooms, on bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis. All rooms have open log fire places and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms also have private verandahs. A beautiful campsite, offers accommodation to overland travellers.
The lodge's restaurant boasts of a rich local and international cuisine well prepared by our experienced chefs to suit your culinary taste. There is an in house bar serving local and international liquor to your specification.
