Nestled in the heart of elephant country, Voi Wildlife Lodge is located in the Savannah grasslands of Tsavo East, Kenya, just 5 km off the main highway connecting the capital Nairobi to the coastal tourism hub of Mombasa.
The lodge is situated on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya's largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills. Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game, including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo as well as a rich variety of birdlife.
All rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor that is replicated throughout the lodge. The luxury rooms comprise two four-poster beds and views of the savannah, which one can enjoy from the comfort of one’s balcony or terrace
The Tembo Restaurant;
Constructed using local ‘makuti’ thatch, the Tembo Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with views across the plains of Tsavo East and the nearby waterhole. The restaurant caters for up to 350 persons and offers a wide selection of international and vegetarian cuisine. Bush breakfasts and packed lunches can be also arranged. The lodge offers lunch for visitors not staying at the lodge.
Safari Spa Bar;
The Safari Spa Bar and lounge offer a spectacular game-viewing platform both night and day. Designed on stilts overlooking the waterhole, the bar extends into the park allowing one to get as close as possible to the sights and sounds of the African bush.
Adjacent to the Tembo Restaurant, the Mandhari Bar provides an alternative setting in which to view game and enjoy a ‘sun downer’ before dinner.
