The Drift Farm Homestead offers luxury self-catering accommodation on a small family farm, one-and-a-half hour’s drive east from Cape Town. Our farm Homestead can comfortably accommodate 12 people. Situated between Caledon and Napier, along the rugged slopes of the quartz-rich Akkedisberg Mountain range in the spectacular Overberg Highlands, the Drift Farm Homestead is cool and airy in summer and warm and snug in winter.
The East Wing is the main living space and houses the kitchen, dining and living room, and two bedrooms, including the master bedroom. The West Wing has a further two large en-suite rooms and the small conference facility. A loft-style apartment with en-suite bedroom and kitchenette adjoin the games room in the converted barn.
In the Overberg we celebrate our fantastic climate, bountiful farmlands and good country fare! Guests receive a welcome basket on arrival with a few foodie essentials - milk, butter, fresh farm bread, a preserve, rusks and a dozen of our Happy Hen eggs.
If you don't want to spend time in the kitchen we can organise pre-prepared meals by prior arrangement as well. The villa pantry is stocked with our wines, cider, honey and other goodies we produce on the farm. You are welcome to purchase these during your stay.
The property includes a large pool, big lawns, and beautiful vistas over the vineyards and olive orchards. There is WiFi, satellite TV, a games room, and a friendly housekeeper.
