Our guest house is located in Hout Bay, one of the most beautiful districts of Cape Town with approximately 30,000 inhabitants. Hout Bay on the Cape Peninsula is surrounded by spectacular mountain landscape on three sides and opens to the picturesque Atlantic Ocean in the south.
Pure Guest House is a perfect starting point for many attractions and activities in the area, especially hiking trips into the mountains, drives into the famous wine region or visits to the lovely beaches along the coastline. Due to this central location, Hout Bay is known as "The Heart of the Cape".
The rich fauna of seafood, especially lobster banks and pikes, only added to the attractiveness of the bay and made Hout Bay one of the centers of the South African fishing industry. During the last decades the scenic town has attracted more and more tourists, especially from Europe.
Pure Guest House is a very quiet and private retreat. Our estate covers 4.300 m² including the guest house, the terraces and gardens and the pool-area with the jacuzzi. Most of the terraces are located at the back of the house with the pool and relaxation areas with deck chairs for our guests.
Close to the 8 x 4 m pool you will also find a shady patio with a dining table for up to 6 people. Up to 4 people can enjoy the jacuzzi together. The large lawn in front of the house offers a spectacular view of Hout Bay valley and the ocean. An ideal place to relax on a hot day.
The ingredients for our breakfast are therefore fresh and nutritious, and come from farms in the area or are homemade. This also gives our guests the most delightful start to the day! Between 08.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. guests can help themselves to our breakfast buffet.
We offer muesli with fresh fruit and milk, as well as a choice of plain and fruit yogurt and juices. A variety of freshly baked bread rolls, a wide selection of cheeses, and cold meats are also offered. As well as locally produced marmalade and honey. Low-fat and lactose-free milk are available.
