Arabuko Jamii Villas are located in Mida Village off Malindi – Mombasa road adjacent to the Arabuko Sokoke Forest, 800 meters from main road 96km from Mombasa and 4km from Gede Forest Station. Arabuko Jamii Villas is a community owned Tourist facility managed by umbrella organization of Arabuko Sokoke Forest Adjacent Dwellers Association (ASFADA). It is one of the network of Arabuko – Sokoke Eco-Tourism Circuit that involves community activities which help in conservation of natural sites by using the resources in a sustainable way. The place is ideal for researchers, scientists, bird watches and others interested in the unique biodiversity of Arabuko Sokoke Forest.
Accomodation comprise of five villas. There are 3 houses each with one bedroom, 1 house with two separate bedroom and 1 Swahili house with two bedrooms and a varanda. The bedrooms are fitted with large beds, 5x6 Mosquito net, Toilet and Shower. All houses have coral walls and a thatched roof.
Arabuko Jamii Villas has a wide area offering Shade, peaceful and secure camping site. You can bring your camping equipments or you book in advance and arrangement for equipment for hire will be organized.
Arabuko Jamii Villas provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (Beer and Soft drinks). The guests can be on full board or halfboard. The guests are allowed to place orders and served at an agreed time.
