Shamashanga accommodates up to 16 guests in 8 large, luxury East African style tents. The camp is situated near the old G-Camp site in the Sapi Safari Area. Each walk-in tent has a private en suite bathroom with shower and are furnished to a high standard with twin ¾ beds.
This area offers fishermen the opportunity to fish for Africa's premier freshwater game fish, the tigerfish while enjoying some of the continent's most impressive big five country. Fishing this section of the Lower Zambezi is an opportunity not to be missed as it is renowned for being one of the world's most rewarding destinations for tiger fishing.
There is a large main lodge housing the dining room, bar and lounge area. There is an outside open-fire-pit with fantastic views over the Zambezi perfect for pre-dinner sundowners and post dinner coffees.
Also there is a small plunge pool situated off to the side, out of view of the main lounge and dining area.
