Harare’s two cinemas – Eastgate and Westgate – show a range of (mostly Hollywood) films and are a great cheap night’s entertainment. Free films are also regularly shown at Alliance Francaise (just around the corner from our Five Ave. lodge), at theNational Gallery and at the German Society. The annual Film Festival usually takes place in August/September.
