Watamu is a small section of the Kenyan coastline, north of the main port of Mombasa, and just south of the sleepy town of Malindi.
It is conveniently located far enough from Watamu village to be secluded, but close enough to find what you need. Getting to know the area will not take you long. Watamu is a small place where you can find most things, and Malindi is a little bigger. While here, you'll prefer to forget that the outside world exists and relax completely in the stunning surroundings of Naishi.
It's a stunning three bedroom house set high up on a ridge offering spectacular views out over the Indian Ocean from both the house and the small infinity pool. The large windows in the living area frame the view outside and lead out onto a terrace where a small infinity plunge pool also fits seamlessly into the fascinating surroundings. All the bedrooms face the sea as well as the indoor cosy living room.
A further dining table outside enables eating al-fresco if you like, and a terrace with baraza seating is an ideal place for watching the deep-sea fishing boats coming in at the end of the day. The garden opens directly onto the beach of Turtle Bay, whose pristine white sand joins the protected Watamu Marine Park and all the facilities that it has to offer. A gate at the bottom of the garden opens directly onto Watamu Marine Park.
The private chef has an array of dishes he can produce for you, from fantastic Swahili seafood dishes to a family roast.
The house is very close to the local hotels and their amenities, including water sports like windsurfing, kite-surfing, snorkelling, scuba-diving and kayaking among others. There is the opportunity to go deep-sea fishing. Watamu offers some of the most satisfying fishing trips.
