Nyumba ya Madau is a private villa in one of the most charming bays of watamu. The daily show of the tides is unique, with a white long string of white sand up to the reef emerging with the low tide and natural swimming pools. a nice gentle breeZe will make your stay even more pleasant.
The house has three rooms for renting, located in the so called lamu court, Decorated with original Swahili architecture pieces, where guests can have their privacy.
It has a private beach and direct access to the sea, on top of numerous solarium spots and relaxing areas.
The house can be rented for a weekend, a week or more. The price includes trained staff and a wonderful cook who can shop for you as well. Fish can be bought fresh from the ocean.
The house belongs to a secured compound and it is protected by g4s private security. A peaceful dog is also ensuring the safety of the guests.
The owners of the house occupy half of it, other three rooms separated from the lamu court, and might sometimes be there depending on the season.
There are also plenty of activities you can do while there, such as kitesurfing, snorkeling, fishing, visiting gede ruins, bird watching, visiting arabuko sokoke forest, going for a trip on a dau in the ocean and see the dolphins, watamu marine park and the mida crick, and accessing the tsavo east in less than half an hour drive.
