Located in the heart of Cilaos village. The Bois Rouge has 5 charming rooms with Clévacances label, awarded 3 keys.
The rooms are comfortable with different Réunion essences in each one: Tamarin (Tamarind), Ti-Natte (Labourdonnaisia calophylloides), Bois Noir (Buttonbush), Benjoin (Spicebush) and Eucalyptus. Each room has its own private terrace overlooking the village. The Bois Rouge also has a communal terrace and a communal room with a fireplace, where breakfasts can be served in winter.
The Bois Rouge embodies the Creole dream of Philippe Turpin, a local artist who offers visits to his studio in which engravings and bronze sculptures are exhibited.
Half-board accommodation is available on Saturday evenings in winter, upon reservation. Laundry can be washed/dried and transfers can be arranged to the starting points of footpaths. Also available: computer (available at reception), books, board games and films.
