A double room in our family-run pension family in Rurutu. The room is simple but local style, with coral block walls and coconut wood counters, looking out onto our garden an ylang-ylang tree. Toilet and shower space in adjoining cubicle. Our guesthouse also offers communal dining, living and terrace areas with free wifi, a small library and TV area. We offer half-board (breakfast and dinner). Breakfast includes my homemade jams, Rurutu coffee and a plate of fruit. Dinner is a three course meal offering a selection of local dishes, particularly fish with home-grown and island-grown products. We have a great location for those looking to get away from it all, and discover traditional polynesian island life. The whitesand beach in front of the house faces the sunset and we are situated on a coconut grove (coprah plantation) with a marae (archaeological sacred site) and behind our home.
