Turtle Bay Beach Club is situated on 200m beachfront plot on the edge of the internationally acclaimed Watamu National Marine Park, one of the best in Kenya.
Watamu beach stretches for about seven kilometres south to the mouth of Mida Creek. The north end of the bay is sheltered by an ancient coral headland - providing a natural harbour for vessels. Traditionally, dhows would anchor here, on their trade route northwards with the monsoon wind. Today, the bay provides shelter to modern sports fishing boats, glass-bottomed boats, and the occasional ngalawa or small dhow.
The hotel buildings are set in 10 acres of tropically landscaped gardens with 145 rooms, three restaurants, three bars, entertainment lounge and swimming pool, and as such makes up one of the most extensive all-inclusive properties in Kenya.
Attractive, well appointed guest rooms come bursting with the sort of thoughtful mod cons that make your holiday run smoothly, including air conditioning, balcony; tea and coffee making facilities.
Sample a candlelit dinner by the ocean at the Blue Turtle restaurant, try a pizza by the ponds or simply relax in the poolside restaurant and enjoy some tasty cuisine. You can also a grab a handy snack at the pool bar- ideal for when you are following a jam packed schedule and need a hit of energy!
