This House is a stunning three-storey Shela townhouse with five spacious bedrooms, all with bathrooms-en-suite. Located next to Jaha House, Habibti stands in a few footsteps distance to Shela’s remarkably colorful fishermen’s beach in a quiet residential neighbourhood.
It’s magnificent rooftop, where you stay under shady Makuti shelters, overviews all blooming gardens down to Lamu creek, the sailing dhows and the mangroves of Manda Island. On first floor, an open courtyard is surrounded at one side by a lounging area with snug swahili beds with lots of kussens & coffee tables; at the other side of the courtyard the dining space is dominated by a huge dining table made of old dhow wood, where you can either sit and enjoy extended dinners with relish, or just long lovely evenings sitting around this amazing piece of design. The impressive chandelier is made by a local artist. Two of the five bedrooms are located on the first floor. All bathrooms are ambitious designed to suit European pretensions.
