The friendly, home-like hospitality is what makes Wildebeest Eco Camp Nairobi's best accommodation choice for travellers, and a unique choice from a city hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city's common phenomenon.

We sit on 3.5 acres, making it an ideal environment for families with ample space for children to safely explore, and a dedicated playground where they can burn some energy.

We have 8 Deluxe Safari en-suite tents, 3 Family En-suite Tents, 6 Garden Tents (shared bathroom), 6 Cottage Rooms and extensive camping grounds. A very nice restaurant and bar onsite overlooking a natural pond and infinity swimming pool.

Conveniently located in Nairobi's leafy Karen area, Wildebeest Camp was Nairobi's first permanent-tented camp. It offers you the opportunity to enjoy the unique safari experience from your first night in Kenya!

We boast of a curio shop and the major places of interest in Nairobi are in close proximity of 10 min drive such as Nairobi National Park, Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center, Mamba Village, Karen Blixen Museum, Galleria Shopping Mall, Bomas of Kenya etc.

It is located within easy walking distance from all essential amenities like banks, ATMs, forex bureaus, supermarkets, cinemas, markets as well as a host of places to eat and mingle with the locals.

Wildebeest Eco Camp is a great base in Nairobi to travel within Kenya or East Africa. You can visit the baby elephants at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (from the BBC's Elephant Diaries), hand-feed or even kiss a giraffe, or visit the farm of Karen Blixen, famous from the book and movie 'Out of Africa',

Close to this camp, you can purchase souvenirs at the Masai Market, visit Kibera (the largest slum in Sub-Saharan Africa) or dine at one of the many great restaurants in Nairobi - including the world famous Carnivore!

The camp's beautifully-appointed rooms and deluxe safari tents will be a welcome place to stay in Nairobi before and after your safari.

The infrastructure at the place is magnificent and the scenery quite beautiful. However there is zero customer service; the receptionist is non-friendly. There was no bell boy and we had to ferry our own luggage. The lights went out when we arrived therefore they decided not to make us dinner, and later when they did the food was too little. The staff was very rude to my elderly mother because of a small request she had made. It is probably the worst place I have ever visited. Just hoping to get a percentage refund because we checked out after one night.
